About The Author

Sarah Leedberg, EdD, is a systems strategist working across artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and human capability. Her perspective was shaped outside traditional academia through direct exposure to the 2008 financial crisis within financial institutions and later the global energy downturn at Shell. These environments informed a disciplined approach to how large systems absorb pressure and delay response. She holds a Doctor of Education and a Master of Science in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston. Her work draws on the Houston Framework for Foresight, separating stable conditions from genuine uncertainty, and emphasizes how institutions misread timing and adapt too late.
